This following rant is for ALL the people who ask this same question - not just you personally - but it includes you.

You can BUY it for cheap on pianostreet or similar sites. Or order from Colony Music in NYC. Why do people want everything for FREE?? What a bunch of cheapskates! How do you think artists and composers get PAID???? I have been in the music business for over 30 years, and make a good living (6 figures). I give away what I *want* to - mainly for benefits - but why do people want to STEAL someone else's music? Yes, audio is easy to get for free on the Net - and often it IS given away by the artists - sometimes pirated - but printed music is cheap enough for sale. And yes, there are pitch to MIDI converters, and wav to MIDI, etc. that then allow you to open it in a notation file - we can crack most safes - but that's one way to close the business down. I am currently seated in a room with over $50,000 worth of printed music in it- ONE of our two studios here - and that is NOT counting the many fine instruments we own, just the printed music. I am a competition judge, and people are disqualified if they walk in with copies - originals or you are out.

If Daniel Powter has decided to give away print copies, fine. If someone has ripped him off, that's a CRIME. And if he gets PAID - he *deserves* every cent!!!
